Field Marshal Asim Munir Emphasizes Strengthening Ties with Overseas Pakistani Community for Mutual Cooperation

Washington, USA: Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir has emphasized the need to further strengthen the continuity of relations and mutual cooperation with the overseas Pakistani community to tackle the challenges facing the nation together. He made these remarks during his official visit to the United States.
According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir met with the overseas Pakistani community in Washington, D.C., where he was warmly welcomed. A large number of members from the community attended the event to meet the Army Chief.
During the meeting, Field Marshal Munir addressed the audience, praising the significant contributions of the overseas Pakistani community. He also acknowledged the community’s role in the recent Operation Bunyān-e-Murṣūs and Battle of Haq, commending the bravery and professionalism of the Pakistan Army.
Field Marshal Munir further highlighted that overseas Pakistanis are the country’s true ambassadors, playing a key role in enhancing Pakistan’s economy and international standing through remittances, investments, and remarkable achievements across various sectors.
The Army Chief also listened attentively to the thoughts, experiences, and suggestions shared by the overseas Pakistanis during the gathering. He stressed the importance of maintaining and enhancing ongoing connections with the community to face Pakistan’s challenges collectively.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from both Field Marshal Munir and the overseas Pakistanis to work together for a safe, prosperous, and stronger Pakistan.
