Suspect Identified in TikToker Sana Yousaf Murder Case

Islamabad: The court has approved a further four-day physical remand of the suspect involved in the murder case of TikTok star Sana Yousaf.
The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad heard the case today, where police presented the arrested suspect, Umar Hayat, after completing the identification parade. The suspect was brought before Area Magistrate Muhammad Hafeez.
During the hearing, the prosecution informed the court that the suspect had been identified by two individuals: his mother and aunt. The prosecution also requested the suspect’s seven-day physical remand to recover his mobile phone and vehicle. However, the suspect claimed that he had already handed over his mobile phone to the police and expressed that he had no contact with his family regarding the case. He requested a medical examination.
The court directed that the suspect undergo a medical examination and approved a four-day physical remand.
In addition, the Federal Prosecutor has appointed a two-member team to handle the case. A murder case against the suspect has been filed, and he is now in police custody under remand. The prosecution team consists of Deputy District Prosecutor Adnan Ali and Raja Naveed Kiani.
