Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Moves to Become a Party in the Reserved Seats Case in Supreme Court

Islamabad: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to become a party in the case concerning reserved seats.
In its petition, the Additional Advocate General for KP stated that the provincial government, along with the Speaker of the Provincial Assembly, should be made a necessary party in the review case. The petition further argued that the petitioners in the review case deliberately did not include the provincial government as a party, even though the judicial decision is directly linked to the basic rights and interests of the provincial government.
The petition seeks the inclusion of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government as a party in the ongoing case regarding reserved seats.
