Islamabad High Court Restrains FIA from Harassing Former Senator Farhatullah Babar

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has barred the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from harassing former Senator Farhatullah Babar. Justice Inam Amin Minhas issued a two-page written order, directing the FIA to act in accordance with the law and to refrain from any form of harassment.
The court has also issued notices to the FIA and other relevant parties, with a response due by the last week of June. The case is being pursued by advocates Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha.
According to the petition, an inquiry is currently pending against Farhatullah Babar with the FIA. The petitioner has requested the court to order the FIA to provide detailed information about the allegations and supply a copy of the complaint, which has not yet been shared with him.
