Nawaz Sharif Offers Condolences to PM Modi, Indian People Over Ahmedabad Plane Crash

Islamabad: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, which claimed over 240 lives.
In a message posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Nawaz Sharif conveyed heartfelt sympathies to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of India, stating that such human tragedies transcend borders.
“I offer my deepest condolences to the families affected by the tragic loss of lives in the Air India crash in Ahmedabad. This heartbreaking loss goes beyond borders and reminds us of our shared humanity,” Nawaz Sharif wrote.
He added that human pain knows no boundaries and that during such disasters, compassion must unite us across nations.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, daughter of Nawaz Sharif, also expressed grief over the incident. She extended her condolences to the bereaved families, saying, “We stand in sorrow with the families of those who lost their lives in the crash.”
The plane crash, which occurred shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad Airport, has shocked the region and drawn international sympathy, with condolences pouring in from across the globe.
