Family of Missing Publisher Ghani Baloch Demands Immediate Recovery, Issues 48-Hour Ultimatum

Quetta:The sister of missing individual Ghani Baloch, Bibi Sultana, has appealed to the judiciary and state institutions for his immediate recovery, stating that he was forcibly disappeared near Khuzdar while traveling from Quetta to Karachi. Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Wednesday, she expressed deep concern over her brother’s disappearance, describing the distress and mental anguish faced by the entire family.
Bibi Sultana revealed that Ghani Baloch went missing on **May 25** at **Khuzdar**, en route to Karachi. She noted that Ghani was a peace-loving, educated individual with a passion for books. He had recently established a publishing house named **”Zawar”** and was traveling to Karachi for related business.
“Our elderly parents are devastated and the family is in extreme mental distress,” she said. “We urge the security institutions, government officials, and judiciary to ensure that Ghani is brought to light and justice is served.”
She warned that if Ghani Baloch is not presented publicly within **48 hours**, the family would be compelled to take decisive action and determine a new course of protest. She made it clear that the **responsibility for any consequences would lie with the government and the security agencies**.
Other supporters and family members were also present during the press conference, standing in solidarity with the family’s demand for transparency, accountability, and the safe return of Ghani Baloch.
