Over 150,000 Afghan Nationals Repatriated Through Chaman Border

QUETTA (Intikhab News): The process of voluntary return and deportation of Afghan nationals illegally residing in Pakistan has accelerated nationwide following the expiry of the government’s deadline. Authorities report a significant increase in the repatriation of Afghan refugees.

According to the Deputy Commissioner of Chaman, more than **150,000 Afghan nationals** have returned to Afghanistan via the Chaman border, while over **25,000 Afghan citizens** from Chaman city and nearby areas have been formally deported through legal procedures.

The district administration emphasized that these actions are being carried out in line with the principles of the rule of law, national security concerns, and the protection of national interests.

To facilitate the returning families, **aid camps, registration points, and transport facilities** have been established at the Chaman border.

Authorities reiterated that the crackdown against illegal immigrants will continue across the country without discrimination.
