Father of TikToker Sana Yusuf’s Murder Suspect Denies Son’s Involvement, Demands Justice

Islamabad – In the high-profile murder case of TikToker Sana Yusuf, the father of the main accused, Umar Hayat alias “Kaka”, has publicly denied the allegations against his son, expressing disbelief that he could be involved in the killing.
Speaking in a video circulating on social media, Umar’s father Amjad stated, “My heart does not accept that my son killed Sana Yusuf.” He also claimed to have no knowledge of any personal relationship between his son and the victim.
According to Geo News, Sana Yusuf was killed on June 2 in Sector G-13 of Islamabad. Umar Hayat was arrested the following day, and during police interrogation, he allegedly confessed to the crime. He has since been sent to jail on a 14-day judicial remand for an identification parade.
Amjad admitted he had seen a short video clip showing his son outside Sana Yusuf’s residence but stressed that the footage did not capture any act of shooting. “The video is very brief and doesn’t clearly show the murder taking place,” he added. “Only Allah knows the real truth.”
In a separate interview, Amjad stated, “If my son is proven guilty, the law must take its course. I seek justice not just for my son but for the innocent girl who was killed. Whether it was my son or someone else, I strongly condemn the act.”
The case continues to spark public attention amid growing calls for justice and accountability.
