Three Family Members Shot Dead in Rawalpindi’s Dherkali Syedan

Rawalpindi:A tragic incident of gun violence occurred in the Dherkali Syedan area of Rawalpindi, where three individuals were shot dead by armed assailants. According to the police, the perpetrators entered the victims’ home and opened fire on the sleeping family members, leading to their deaths.

The victims have been identified as Mashthaq Shah, Imran Shah, and Rizwan Shah. Among them were a father and his two sons. Their bodies were transferred to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Police officials have suggested that the attack appears to be the result of personal enmity, although investigations are still ongoing. The City Police Officer (CPO) and Khalid Hamdani, the police chief, have directed the Superintendent of Police (SP) to submit a report on the incident and ordered the arrest of the culprits involved.

In a related development, the police have detained two suspected individuals for questioning in connection with the shooting and are working to determine further details.
