Kyrgyzstan President Arrives in Islamabad; Warm Welcome by Pakistan’s President and Prime Minister

Islamabad – Kyrgyzstan’s President, Sadyr Japarov, arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit, where he was warmly received by Pakistan’s President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at Nur Khan Airbase. Senior federal cabinet members and high-ranking officials were also present to welcome the visiting leader.

Upon exiting the aircraft, President Arif Alvi embraced President Japarov, while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif greeted him with a cordial handshake. Children dressed in traditional attire presented flowers to the Kyrgyz leader, and a display of both countries’ flags accompanied a warm welcome ceremony. President Japarov was also honored with a 21-gun salute upon his arrival.

During his visit, President Japarov will hold meetings with both Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Arif Alvi. He is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of the Prime Minister and is scheduled to address a business forum in Islamabad. The Kyrgyz delegation includes senior government officials and prominent business figures.
