PM Shehbaz Forms Committee to Tackle Indian Water Aggression, Led by Ishaq Dar

Prime Minister **Shehbaz Sharif** has established a high-level committee to address the issue of **Indian water aggression**. The committee, headed by **Finance Minister Ishaq Dar**, is tasked with presenting recommendations for combating water-related challenges posed by India within the next **72 hours**.
The committee will focus on **strategic plans for constructing new dams** and will review the financial aspects related to the funding of these crucial water projects. In addition to **Ishaq Dar**, the committee will include the **chief ministers of all four provinces**, along with the **chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan** and the **prime minister of Azad Kashmir**.
The government has emphasized the urgency of this issue, given the strategic importance of water security for Pakistan, especially in light of ongoing water disputes with India. The committee’s swift actions will be closely monitored as it seeks to secure Pakistan’s water resources against external threats.
