Mask Wearing and Pillion Riding Banned in Surab Until June 10 Amid Security Concerns

The district administration of Surab has imposed a ban on wearing masks or covering faces and on pillion riding (double riding) on motorcycles until **June 10, 2025**, in response to recent security threats.
According to an official notification issued by the Surab administration, the decision comes in the wake of a **recent terrorist incident** in the region. As part of heightened security measures, strict restrictions have been enforced on public movement involving covered faces or the use of masks.
The notification states that **pillion riding on motorcycles** will be **completely prohibited** from **June 3 to June 10, 2025**. The administration also confirmed that **security forces are conducting operations against a group named “Fitna-e-Hindustan”**, and urged the public to **stay away from such operations for their own safety**.
The notice further warns that **any harm to life or property during this period will be the sole responsibility of the individuals involved**, and not the authorities.
The district administration assured that **all necessary steps are being taken to ensure public safety**, and requested **full cooperation from citizens**, stating that public support is crucial for the success of the security measures.
