Mahira Khan Reveals She Still Shares a Friendly Relationship with Ex-Husband

Islamabad: Renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has opened up about her personal life, revealing that she still maintains a friendly relationship with her ex-husband, Ali Askari.
In a recent appearance on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, Mahira shared that her bond with Ali Askari and his current wife, Zara, remains warm and cordial. Reflecting on her first marriage in 2007, she described it as a valuable experience, stating, “If I hadn’t gone through that relationship, I wouldn’t have been blessed with a priceless gift like Azlan,” referring to her son.
Mahira emphasized that she has no regrets about the end of her first marriage, as every life experience offers something to learn. She disclosed that she could have remarried years ago but chose to prioritize her son’s well-being. “I wanted Azlan to be ready for my second marriage. When he grew mature enough, he encouraged me to get married again,” she said.
The actress tied the knot with businessman Salim Karim in October 2023, describing the union as a “mature and thoughtful decision.” She admitted to having some initial apprehensions before the wedding, but it was Azlan’s support that gave her the courage to take the step.
