Karachi:The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast a significant rise in temperatures across Karachi today, with the mercury expected to reach between **40°C and 42°C**, while the **feels-like temperature** could soar as high as **49°C to 50°C** due to hot and dry winds.
According to the latest weather update, **current temperature** in the city stands at **36°C**, with a **perceived temperature of 41°C**. Winds are blowing from the north at a speed of **6 km/h**, and the **humidity level** is recorded at **68%**.
The weather is expected to remain **extremely hot and dry** for the next 24 hours, with **hot winds** continuing to blow throughout the day. There is also a possibility of **heatwave-like conditions**, making it potentially hazardous for vulnerable populations.
The authorities have issued safety advisories urging citizens to:
