Boat Capsizes in Indus River Near Kohat, 2 Missing, 7 Rescued

At least nine people were onboard a boat that capsized near Khushal Garh in the Indus River, close to Kohat. According to rescue sources, **seven individuals have been safely rescued** with the help of local divers, while **two people remain missing**.

Rescue teams from both **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab** launched a joint operation that lasted **seven hours**, but the search was suspended due to darkness. Officials have confirmed that the **rescue operation will resume early morning today** to locate the missing individuals.

The cause of the boat capsizing has not been officially confirmed yet.
