PTI Punjab Assembly Members Hold Symbolic Session Outside Adiala Jail, Moin Riaz Qureshi Declared Ceremonial CM

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members of the Punjab Assembly held an **unusual session outside Adiala Jail**, beginning with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the national anthem.

During the session, PTI lawmaker **Mian Ijaz Shafi** was elected as Speaker, while **Opposition Leader Moin Riaz Qureshi** was symbolically chosen as the **Chief Minister of Punjab**.

The assembly members unanimously passed a resolution opposing the **26th Constitutional Amendment** and another resolution in support of **Palestine**, urging Muslim countries to unite and respond collectively to Israeli actions against the Muslim Ummah.

Participants also demanded the **early resolution of pending cases** of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi, stressing that justice should prevail over political victimization.

The gathering reaffirmed PTI’s commitment to **protecting the public mandate and upholding constitutional supremacy**, vowing to continue its struggle for democracy and justice.
