Quetta Lawmakers Unite Under Haji Ali Madad Jatak’s Leadership, Pledge Uncompromising Focus on Key Public Sectors

Quetta: Elected members of the Provincial Assembly from Quetta convened a significant meeting under the leadership of PPP MPA Haji Ali Madad Jatak, expressing full confidence in Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti’s leadership. The primary aim of the meeting was to formulate a collective strategy for the development of Quetta and to prioritize public welfare initiatives.
The attendees vowed to transcend political affiliations and work jointly for the city’s progress, cleanliness, and enhancement of civic amenities. The meeting was attended by prominent figures including Agha Umar Ahmadzai, Mir Liaquat Ali Lehri, Malik Naeem Bazai, Zareeq Mandokhail, Mir Ubaid Gorgage, Mir Abdul Samad Gorgage, and tribal leader Mir Sajid Dashti, among others.
In a unanimous declaration, the participants resolved that there would be no compromise in critical sectors such as education, health, sports, electricity, gas, water, and sanitation. Immediate actions to improve these areas will be prioritized to ensure the provision of basic facilities to the public.
A joint communiqué released after the meeting emphasized unity with the slogan, “Quetta belongs to us all, and we are all for Quetta”, reflecting the shared commitment of the elected representatives to dedicate their efforts to building a prosperous, clean, and developed Quetta.
The members also agreed to hold similar consultative sessions in the future to ensure transparency in governance and enhance public participation in decision-making.
Additionally, an organizational structure was established through mutual consultation. BAP MPA Agha Umar Ahmadzai was appointed as Chairman, PML-N’s Zareeq Khan Mandokhail as Deputy Chairman, PPP’s Haji Ali Madad Jatak as Senior Vice President, and ANP’s Malik Naeem Bazai as Deputy Vice President.
