PTI Leadership Demands Justice for Founding Chairman, Calls All Cases Fabricated

Islamabad – The central leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has declared all cases against the party’s founding chairman to be baseless and politically motivated, urging the judiciary to deliver fair and timely justice.
Speaking to the media outside the Islamabad High Court, PTI leader Barrister Gohar Ali emphasized that justice must not only be done but also seen to be done. “Justice should be served without favoritism,” he said. “Nawaz Sharif was granted bail within 70 and 91 days in two different cases, yet our founding chairman is still awaiting bail after a much longer period.”
Barrister Gohar confirmed that the case regarding the suspension of PTI founder’s sentence has now been included in the cause list and will be heard on June 5.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur echoed similar sentiments, calling all cases against the PTI founder false and accusing the authorities of manipulating the law for political gains. “The law has been turned into a personal tool, and the Constitution of Pakistan is being mocked,” he stated.
Gandapur also stressed the party’s unwavering support for the judiciary. “We have placed you in this position so you can deliver justice. We will continue to stand by the judiciary and urge you to make fair decisions,” he added.
Reiterating PTI’s stance against the 26th Constitutional Amendment, Gandapur said, “We opposed the 26th Amendment in the past and will continue to do so. This is a battle not just for one man, but for the future of our nation and our children.”
He concluded by reaffirming PTI’s commitment to its leader: “We stood by Imran Khan, we stand by him now, and we will continue to stand by him.”
