Kuwait Resumes Visa Issuance for Pakistani Citizens After 19 Years

Kuwait City: In a significant diplomatic development, Kuwait has officially lifted its 19-year-long ban on issuing visas to Pakistani citizens. According to media reports, the Gulf nation has started issuing various types of visas including work, family, visit, tourist, and commercial visas to Pakistani nationals.
The move has been hailed as a major step forward in bilateral relations. A focal person from Pakistan’s Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis stated that this decision will open doors to thousands of Pakistanis for employment, business, and tourism opportunities in Kuwait.
All visa applications can now be processed through Kuwait’s online visa platform, eliminating the need for prolonged wait times. The ministry official also noted that increased employment opportunities in Kuwait will contribute valuable foreign exchange to Pakistan’s economy.
