Riyadh Emerges as Key Transit Hub Amid Middle East Tensions

Abu Dhabi:** Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh, has emerged as a major transit hub for evacuations from the United Arab Emirates.
According to a report published by an American newspaper, wealthy families and global executives are relocating from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Riyadh as a precautionary measure.
The report states that affluent individuals are willing to pay thousands of dollars to secure travel arrangements from Dubai to Riyadh. Demand for private aviation has surged significantly, with the cost of chartering a private jet from Riyadh to Europe reportedly climbing to as high as $350,000.
The newspaper further noted that after routes through Oman were closed, Riyadh is now being viewed as the only secure and viable option for onward travel to Europe.
The development highlights the shifting travel dynamics in the region as geopolitical uncertainty prompts high-net-worth individuals and corporate leaders to seek safer transit corridors.
