PTI May Move No-Confidence Motion Against NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq: Salman Akram Raja

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General **Salman Akram Raja** has said that the party is considering tabling a **no-confidence motion** against **National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq**, and it could be presented **at any time**.

In an interview with a private TV channel, Raja said that he recently held a **meeting with party founder Imran Khan** to discuss PTI’s **future political strategy**, amid efforts by “certain forces” to create **mistrust** within the party.

> “Imran Khan emphasized that Indian Prime Minister Modi could make another reckless move, so national unity is crucial,” Raja stated.

Regarding the National Assembly proceedings, Raja accused Speaker Ayaz Sadiq of **deleting PTI lawmakers’ speeches from the record**, and added that **eight PTI members were abducted from the Assembly premises**, yet no action was taken.

> “We are actively considering moving a no-confidence motion against the Speaker. It could happen at any moment,” he said.

This statement comes amid **renewed speculation** about PTI possibly moving **no-confidence motions** not just against the Speaker, but also against **Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif**. However, PTI Chairman **Barrister Gohar Ali Khan** had previously denied such plans, saying the party was **not pursuing** any no-confidence motions at the time.
