PIA to Launch Direct Flights from Lahore to Paris Starting June 18

Lahore:Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the commencement of **direct weekly flights from Lahore to Paris**, with the **first flight scheduled for June 18**. This move follows the lifting of a **4.5-year ban by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)**, which had previously restricted PIA from operating in European airspace.

The **weekly direct flight** will operate **every Wednesday**, marking a significant expansion of PIA’s post-ban European operations. The national carrier **resumed flights to Europe on January 10**, after the ban was officially lifted on **November 29**.

PIA is **already operating two weekly flights from Islamabad to Paris**, and sources suggest that **additional routes to other European cities** are also under consideration as part of PIA’s strategy to rebuild its international network.
