Meeting Between Prime Minister and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Took Place on PM’s Initiative: Shafiq Jan

Charsadda: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Shafiq Jan has stated that the recent meeting between the Prime Minister and Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Suhail Afridi, occurred at the Prime Minister’s request.

Speaking at a press conference in Charsadda, Shafiq Jan clarified that no political discussions took place during the meeting. He said Suhail Afridi briefed the Prime Minister on ground realities related to terrorism and also raised the issue of pending federal dues.

He added that Afridi had previously highlighted the terrorism situation in a meeting attended by the Corps Commander and the Interior Minister.

Shafiq Jan further expressed concern over the health of PTI founder and mentioned that a container has been prepared for upcoming protests, which could be moved toward any city at any time.
