Alizeh Shah Breaks Silence on Plastic Surgery Rumors, Says Weight Loss Behind Her Changed Look

Karachi:Popular Pakistani actress **Alizeh Shah** has strongly denied undergoing any kind of plastic or cosmetic surgery, addressing ongoing speculation about her changing appearance. The actress shared a video on social media in which she clarified that her transformed look is the result of **weight loss**, not surgery.
> “For God’s sake, no, I haven’t had any surgery. Please spare me! Where does it even look like I had surgery?” said Alizeh in the video, visibly frustrated by the persistent rumors.
In another video, she recalled her early career and said she was only **17 years old** when she acted in the hit drama serial *Ehd-e-Wafa*. She mentioned that her **mother had signed her contract** because she did not yet have a national ID card at the time.
> “Why do people expect me to look the same after six long years?” she asked, pointing out the natural changes that come with age and personal growth.
Alizeh rose to fame through her role in *Ehd-e-Wafa* and went on to star in several successful dramas. However, she has recently been trending on social media due to her **bold photos**, which have drawn both praise and criticism. The online backlash also included accusations of her having **plastic surgery**, which prompted her to set the record straight.
Adding fuel to the controversy, a recent talk show segment featuring veteran actress **Saba Faisal** went viral. When asked to rank the natural beauty of various actresses, Saba rated **Alizeh Shah’s natural beauty at only 20%**, while giving 100% to Mahira Khan, Ayeza Khan, Iqra Aziz, and Dur-e-Fishan. She also rated Hania Aamir at 70%, Reema and Mehwish Hayat at 60%, Mathira at 11%, and herself at 10%.
Earlier, actress **Nazish Jahangir** also made remarks during a podcast, stating that Alizeh “used to look like a doll” but allegedly ruined her face with **cosmetic procedures**.
Alizeh Shah’s recent response seeks to push back against what she sees as **unfair and baseless criticism**, and she is calling for more empathy and understanding from the public and media.
