Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Khan Raisani Urges Balochistan’s Youth to Strengthen National Unity and Political Integrity

QUETTA:Senior politician and former senator Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Khan Raisani emphasized that Balochistan is not just an administrative province but a national homeland. Speaking during a meeting with a youth delegation at Sarawan House, he underlined that the elders of this land have historically defined national order, political, and tribal principles through collective decisions. He urged the youth to focus on education as a means to ensure national dignity, development, prosperity, honor, and control over resources, and to strengthen national unity through collective thought.
Nawabzada Raisani criticized the political dynamics that have led to the mismanagement of Balochistan’s resources and governance. He stated that Balochistan’s national development has often been hindered by questionable elections, resulting in the imposition of individuals and political groups who have no concern for the national order, evolution, or unity of the region. As a result, he pointed out, the province continues to face a growing national crisis.
He further urged Balochistan’s youth to gain knowledge and align their actions with the collective national interest. By doing so, they can make education a tool for national honor, development, and control over resources, shaping national unity through thoughtful and conscious efforts.
Raisani also noted that while the youth of Balochistan may be disillusioned, it is crucial to remember that political engagement should not be based on emotional manipulation or seeking power for personal gain. Instead, politics should be viewed as a scientific management process, where political parties, once in power, should bring about tangible changes in the lives of their people. He criticized the tendency of political groups to play with public sentiments for electoral gains, only to engage in corruption once in power, which has contributed to widespread disillusionment.
He urged Balochistan’s youth and political workers to shift their political attitudes and base their actions on scientific principles, ensuring that the province’s political framework is established on integrity and leadership standards. This, he said, would help define the future of Balochistan and its youth.
