Parineeti Chopra Criticizes Indian Media for Spreading False News and Fear

Mumbai (Qudrat Daily) – Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has expressed her dissatisfaction with the Indian media for spreading false news, urging media outlets to be more responsible in their reporting. In a recent social media post, Parineeti criticized the spread of misinformation, which she believes is fueling fear and uncertainty among the public.
In her Instagram story, Parineeti highlighted that one of the most harmful actions at present is the dissemination of unverified and misleading information, which is creating widespread panic. She advised the public to rely only on official sources for information and called on the media to take greater responsibility in their reporting.
Her remarks come amidst growing criticism of Indian media outlets, especially for their anti-Pakistan propaganda and the circulation of fabricated news. Before Parineeti, actress Sonakshi Sinha also questioned the role of the media in spreading fear. Sinha criticized the sensationalism and exaggerated reports that are often presented with loud and dramatic tones, making the situation worse.
Sonakshi further stated, “Our news channels have become a joke, showing exaggerated drama with screaming and shouting, making people’s heads spin.” She urged the media to do their job correctly, presenting only the truth, and refraining from sensationalizing war or conflict to create unnecessary fear among the public.
Both actresses’ comments reflect a growing concern about the role of media in shaping public perception and the need for more responsible journalism.
