TikToker Sonia Shah Issues Apology After Peshawar Police Arrest Over Dance Club Announcement
Peshawar: Peshawar police have reportedly “updated the software” of TikToker Sonia Shah, who had announced plans to open a dance club for girls in the city.
Following her arrest, a new video statement by Sonia Shah surfaced in which she apologized for her previous actions and promised not to engage in such activities again.
The operation was led by SHO Gulbahar, Saleem Khalil, with women police officers, resulting in the arrest of Sonia Shah, wife of Dadu Shah, a resident of Gulbahar Number 4, Ijazabad. In her recorded statement while in police custody, Sonia Shah appealed to the nation for forgiveness and assured that she would not open a dance club in Peshawar.
Police stated that actions against individuals spreading indecency will continue to protect social values. Earlier, a viral video showed Sonia Shah openly announcing plans to open a dance club for girls in Peshawar.
