Pleasant Weather in Punjab, Thunderstorms and Rain Expected Until Sunday

Lahore: The weather in Punjab has turned pleasant as thunderstorms and rain are forecasted to continue until Sunday, according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). A fresh spell of rain, accompanied by thunder, has begun in various parts of Lahore, breaking the heat and bringing relief to residents.
The PDMA has issued an alert for potential dust storms and rainfall across several districts from today through May 11. Districts likely to be affected include Lahore, Kasur, Sialkot, Narowal, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, and Mianwali.
From May 8 to 10, southern Punjab — including Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar — may also experience thunderstorms, rain, and strong winds. Citizens are advised to stay indoors and seek shelter during lightning and stormy conditions to ensure their safety.
The recent rainfall has not only cooled down temperatures but also refreshed the atmosphere, much to the delight of the public. Authorities continue to urge precautionary measures during this weather activity.
