Pakistan Army Shoots Down 12 Indian Drones in Major Border Escalation; Civilian Casualties and National Security Measures Follow

In **Chakwal’s Diwalian village**, a drone crash caused panic but no casualties. **In Gujrat**, debris from a downed drone landed on a residential roof but, fortunately, no one was hurt.

A drone near **Lahore Airport** was found to be carrying **explosives** and was downed via **signal jamming**, followed by a loud explosion. In **Karachi’s Sharafi Goth**, rescue and fire services were deployed after a similar crash.

Citizens across the country **praised the Pakistan Army’s prompt response**, chanting slogans in support and expressing strong confidence in the nation’s defense capabilities.

This incident follows India’s **April 6–7 midnight attack** on civilian areas in Pakistan, which killed **31 civilians**, including **2 children**, and injured **57 others**. Pakistan responded by downing **five Indian fighter jets**, including **three Rafales**, and **destroying military installations**.
