Prime Minister and Military Leadership Visit ISI Headquarters for Security Briefing

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, Defense Minister, and the heads of all three branches of the Armed Forces, visited the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Headquarters today. During the visit, the national leadership was provided with a detailed briefing on the country’s security situation.
The briefing primarily focused on addressing the increasing aggression from India along the eastern border and preparations to counter traditional military threats. The leadership was also updated on the latest regional security developments, the evolving nature of threats, conventional military challenges, hybrid warfare, and proxy networks linked to terrorism.
Special attention was given to enhancing inter-institutional coordination and ensuring operational readiness at all levels, in order to effectively and promptly respond to any potential threats to the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Prime Minister praised the professional expertise and strategic understanding of the ISI. He acknowledged the agency’s vital role in safeguarding national interests and making timely decisions in complex security situations. “The entire nation stands with our brave forces. The Pakistan Army is one of the most professional and disciplined military forces in the world,” said the Prime Minister.
The national leadership reiterated their commitment to ensuring Pakistan’s defense against all types of threats. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif emphasized that, with public support, the armed forces and state institutions are fully prepared to defend the security, dignity, and sovereignty of Pakistan at any cost.
