Lahore Police Arrest Alleged “Boss” in High-Profile Case Involving Foreign Women

Lahore:Police in Lahore say they have arrested a suspect believed to be the alleged “Boss” in a high-profile case involving two foreign women who accused a group of kidnapping, sexual assault, and financial crimes.
Speaking about the investigation, DIG Investigation Zeeshan Raza said that all suspects are being treated like ordinary detainees and have not received any special protocol. He added that the accused have remained in police lockup since their arrest and were produced in court in handcuffs.
According to police, DNA samples from the suspects and the complainants have been sent to a forensic laboratory for examination. Investigators also stated that the suspects allegedly forced the women to transfer approximately **$19,000** to their digital cryptocurrency wallet. Authorities further claim that the suspects had invested between **$400,000 and $500,000** in cryptocurrency. The mobile phones recovered from the accused have also been sent for forensic analysis.
The case involves two foreign women, identified in reports as **Astrid Robins** from Spain and her companion **Stephanie**, who alleged they were unlawfully confined, threatened, and subjected to sexual assault in Lahore’s upscale Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area.
According to the women’s statements, members of the group repeatedly referred to an unidentified individual as the **”Boss”**, claiming they acted under his instructions. The complainants alleged that while they were being threatened and pressured to reveal banking passwords, the suspects remained in constant contact with this individual by phone.
One of the women also stated that a suspect who spoke fluent English warned them that they would not leave alive if they refused to hand over money or passwords. Investigators are examining whether this individual could be the alleged “Boss” or whether another person directed the operation from outside the scene.
The complainants further alleged that armed men carrying out the acts appeared to be following orders from a superior, strengthening investigators’ suspicion that the crimes may have been coordinated by a central figure.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, and authorities are continuing efforts to identify everyone involved. The allegations remain under investigation, and the suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
