Vice Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Warns of Strong Response to Indian Aggression

Islamabad:In a robust statement, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar assured that Pakistan is prepared to respond decisively if India engages in any aggression. Speaking at the *”Regional Dialogue 2025″* event in Islamabad, Dar emphasized that Pakistan remains alert and ready to defend its interests. He reaffirmed that Pakistan would not concede any portion of its water under the Indus Water Treaty, describing any unilateral revocation of the treaty by India as an act of war.
Dar strongly rejected India’s baseless accusations following the *Pahalgam Incident*, asserting that Pakistan was in no way involved in the event. He condemned India’s unfounded claims and described them as part of a larger strategy to distract from ongoing internal issues within India.
**”We thwarted India’s previous campaign in a matter of moments, giving them a response in their own language,”** Dar declared, referring to Pakistan’s swift military response to India’s airspace violations in past encounters. He reiterated that Pakistan would stand firm, ensuring that India would face a robust reply if it chose to escalate hostilities.
Dar also spoke on the global and regional challenges facing the world today, stressing that peace and prosperity must be a collective goal for all nations. He acknowledged the devastating impact of climate change, noting its long-term effects on future generations. The issue of Kashmir and Palestine, he pointed out, continues to fuel tensions and instability in the region, hindering broader regional peace.
**”India’s actions are a threat not only to regional peace but to global stability,”** Dar warned, referencing the *Pahalgam attack* as a likely false flag operation intended to divert attention from internal movements within India. He emphasized that Pakistan has always stood for peace in the region, despite facing numerous challenges, including the catastrophic 2022 floods.
The Foreign Minister also highlighted Pakistan’s longstanding position on the Kashmir dispute, affirming that Pakistan would continue to raise its voice against aggression and human rights violations in Kashmir. His remarks reflect Pakistan’s commitment to both regional peace and international norms, especially in the context of ongoing geopolitical tensions.
