Punjab Govt Decides Early Disbursement of Salaries and Pensions Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr

**Lahore:** The Government of **Punjab** has decided to release salaries and pensions of government employees ahead of schedule in view of **Eid al-Fitr**.

A notification has been issued with the approval of the Secretary Finance, directing relevant departments to ensure timely payments. According to the notification issued by the provincial Finance Department, salaries for the month of March will be paid on March 16, while pensions for retired government employees will also be disbursed on the same date.

The notification states that Muslim government employees will receive their March salaries before Eid-ul-Fitr to facilitate preparations for the religious festival. Retired employees across the province will likewise receive their pensions on March 16.

The move aims to provide financial relief and convenience to public sector employees and pensioners ahead of the upcoming holiday.
