Barrister Saif Criticizes Nawaz Sharif, Demands Clear Stance Against Modi

Peshawar, Pakistan:Barrister Saif, the spokesperson for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, has strongly criticized Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, demanding that the ruling party take a clear stance against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He suggested that before criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the government should ensure that Nawaz Sharif himself speaks out against Modi.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Barrister Saif questioned Nawaz Sharif’s position, asking, “Is Modi Nawaz Sharif’s weakness or compulsion?” He accused Nawaz Sharif of hesitating to criticize Modi, despite his well-known ties to the Indian Prime Minister, especially after having shared social and political moments with him in the past. “Nawaz Sharif is avoiding speaking out against Modi, the killer of Kashmiris, who dines at his home in Jati Umra,” Saif added.
He emphasized that while the people of Pakistan and the armed forces are united against India, Nawaz Sharif’s silence indicates that he and Modi might be on the same page. “Nawaz Sharif and his agents are trying to undermine the morale of Pakistan’s united nation and armed forces by not speaking against Modi,” Barrister Saif said, reaffirming that PTI and the military are aligned in their opposition to Modi.
Saif urged the government to take concrete actions, rather than just issuing statements. He called on the ruling party to adopt a firm anti-Modi stance, saying, “If national security is truly important, then political affiliations should be set aside, and a stronger, unified narrative against India should be put forward.”
Barrister Saif’s remarks have sparked renewed political debates, especially regarding Nawaz Sharif’s silence on key international issues, further intensifying the rhetoric between political parties in Pakistan.
