Security Forces Eliminate 5 Militants in Successful Operations Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: ISPR

Rawalpindi: Security forces killed five militants in three separate intelligence-based operations conducted on April 30 and May 1 in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operations were carried out in Bajaur, North Waziristan, and Mohmand districts. In Bajaur, forces launched a targeted strike based on credible intelligence, eliminating three militants after an intense exchange of fire. Among those killed was a high-value target, Fareedullah.
In another operation in the Dosali area of North Waziristan, two more militants were killed during a firefight. A third operation in Mohmand district led to the arrest of two militants, including a high-level target identified as Lal Ameer alias Ibrahim.
The ISPR reported that a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered during the raids. The neutralized and captured individuals were actively involved in various terrorist activities.
Security forces have launched a clearance operation in the regions to eliminate any remaining threats. The Pakistan Army remains committed to eradicating terrorism and ensuring lasting peace across the country.
