Illegal Medicines Worth Rs 40 Million Seized in Karachi Raid; Suspect Arrested

Karachi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) State Bank Circle Karachi conducted a successful raid in Lyari, seizing illegal and unregistered medicines worth Rs 40 million. According to the FIA spokesperson, a suspect named Maqbool Ali Zehri was arrested during the operation.
The suspect was reportedly involved in the import, distribution, and sale of smuggled and unregistered medicines, including steroids, brought in from abroad. These illegal drugs were being supplied not only within Karachi but also to other cities across the country.
The operation was carried out with the assistance of Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) officials. The arrested suspect is now in custody, and investigations are underway to uncover the full extent of the network.
