Shabir Zadi: “Imran Khan Can Never Become Prime Minister Again”

Islamabad: Former Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Shabir Zadi, has stated that Imran Khan can never become the Prime Minister of Pakistan again. In an interview on Express News’ “Powercast” program with host and bureau chief Faisal Hussain, Zadi emphasized that Imran Khan’s temperament is not suitable for the position of Prime Minister, and this could be detrimental to his political career.
Shabir Zadi advised Imran Khan to aspire to be the “Gandhi of Pakistan” rather than attempting to follow in the footsteps of Jawaharlal Nehru. He pointed out that the true architects of Pakistan, those who contributed significantly to its creation, are found in areas like Lalu Khet and Golimar, while those in the current assembly have played no meaningful role.
It is notable that Shabir Zadi served as the Chairman of the FBR during Imran Khan’s tenure as Prime Minister, and he has garnered attention for his candid interviews and bold statements.
