Akbar S. Babar Takes Dig at PTI Fundraising Campaign for September 27 Long March

Islamabad: Founding member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Akbar S. Babar has made a pointed remark regarding the party’s fundraising campaign for the proposed September 27 long march.

In a post on social media platform X, Akbar S. Babar said that the PTI’s “self-styled leadership” had launched a new fundraising campaign for the September 27 long march.

Referring to what he described as bitter experiences from the past, he advised those contributing to the campaign to obtain an affidavit from the fund collectors carrying a “money-back guarantee.”

He said the affidavit should guarantee that all funds would be returned if the September 27 long march was cancelled or “overtaken by events.”

The PTI founding member ended his post with a sarcastic warning: “Then don’t say you weren’t informed!”
