Karachi Inter Board Postpones Intermediate Annual Exams to May 5, 2025

Karachi – The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced a postponement of the Intermediate Annual Examinations 2025, originally scheduled to begin on April 28. The exams will now commence on May 5, 2025, as per the directive issued by the Chairman of the Board.
According to the official statement, the decision to delay the exams was taken for two primary reasons. First, grace marks are currently being awarded to students of the Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, and General Science groups in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics papers of the 2024 Part-I Annual Examinations, based on recommendations from a special committee.
Second, several examination centers are already occupied for the ongoing Matriculation exams, which began on April 8 and will continue until May 8, 2025. To maintain an organized examination system and ensure the availability of exam centers, the board has opted to shift the start date of the Intermediate exams.
All students, educational institutions, and parents are advised to continue preparations as per the revised schedule.
