Army Chief General Asim Munir Highlights Pakistan’s Creation and the Two-Nation Theory

Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir emphasized the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s ancestors for the creation of the country and reaffirmed the military’s resolve to defend it. Addressing the Passing Out Parade at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, the Army Chief stated that Pakistanis are fully capable of defending their homeland.
General Munir reiterated that Muslims and Hindus are distinct in every aspect of life, including religion, customs, traditions, and aspirations. He highlighted that this difference formed the foundation of the Two-Nation Theory, which posited that Muslims and Hindus were separate nations, not one.
The Army Chief concluded by asserting that the Pakistani nation has made countless sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan and will continue to protect and defend it with unwavering commitment.
