Trusted Insider Turns Thief: Rs 4 Million Jewelry Robbery Solved in Lahore

Lahore – In a dramatic twist to a major jewelry theft case in the provincial capital, the trusted private employee of the complainant has been identified as the prime suspect. The incident, which initially appeared to be a street robbery, turned out to be an inside job.
According to Lahore police, the robbery took place in the Lytton Road area, where jewelry worth Rs 4 million was reportedly snatched from a citizen. However, investigations revealed that the main suspect, Irfan Ali, was actually a private servant of the complainant, who had been entrusted with the task of collecting 13 tolas of gold jewelry from a jeweler.
Instead of safely delivering the valuables, Irfan allegedly conspired with his accomplices to stage a fake robbery. As per the plan, when Irfan reached the LOS drain area with the jewelry, his partners forcibly took the items at gunpoint and fled the scene.
Taking immediate notice of the incident, DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza tasked a special police team with apprehending the culprits and recovering the stolen goods. The investigation team, using modern technology and human intelligence, successfully arrested Irfan Ali and his accomplice Faisal.
The police recovered the entire stash of stolen jewelry along with illegal weapons from the suspects. Authorities have assured that, with the support of the prosecution partnership, strict legal action will be taken against the culprits to ensure they face appropriate punishment.
The Investigation Police reiterated their commitment to protecting citizens’ lives and property and pledged to deal with criminals with an iron hand.
