CM Sarfraz Bugti Meets Social Media Influencers, Announces Launch of Balochistan’s First Social Media Policy

QUETTA:Chief Minister of Balochistan**, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, met with social media influencers to discuss the introduction of Balochistan’s first-ever **Social Media Policy**. During the meeting, he emphasized the growing significance of social media, stating, “The power of social media cannot be denied in today’s world. It plays a crucial role in shaping public opinion, and young people are both positively and negatively influenced by it.”

He highlighted that **guiding the youth** in the right direction is now more important than ever, particularly as **misinformation** and **misguiding narratives** are prevalent on social platforms. “The state is paramount, and identifying flaws in governance is a positive and necessary step,” he said, reaffirming his commitment to **constructive criticism**.

The CM added that his government would ensure that the concerns and suggestions from social media users would be incorporated into the new policy. The focus will be on **creating employment opportunities**, **educational initiatives**, and raising awareness among the youth.

Bugti further stressed the need to use **social media as a tool for positive change**, saying that steps will be taken to curb **negative propaganda**. He urged the influencers to play an active role in **promoting Balochistan’s positive image** and enhancing **social harmony** and **national unity**.

“The development of policies in line with the modern era is imperative,” he concluded, encouraging social media influencers to continue their efforts in promoting a **unified and progressive vision** for Balochistan.
