Train Delays from Karachi Cause Severe Inconvenience to Passengers

Karachi – Multiple domestic trains departing from Karachi faced significant delays, causing frustration and mental distress for passengers, including women, elderly individuals, and children. Among the most affected was the Shah Hussain Express, which departed from Karachi Cantt Station more than five hours behind its scheduled time.
Passengers reported that when they booked their tickets, the scheduled departure time for the Shah Hussain Express was 7:30 PM. However, Pakistan Railways revised the departure time to 9:00 PM on April 15 without notifying travelers. As a result, many passengers arrived at the station as early as 6:00 PM and were forced to wait for hours.
Other major trains, including the Green Line and Millat Express, also departed later than scheduled, adding to the chaos at the station. The lack of timely communication and proper facilities at the station worsened the situation, leaving many passengers disappointed and demanding better management and transparency from Pakistan Railways.
