E-Office System Saves Federal Government Rs 9.5 Billion, Cuts Processing Time by 84%

Islamabad: The implementation of the e-office system across federal ministries has resulted in annual savings of Rs 9.5 billion for the government. The system has reduced the time required for processing summaries from 25 days to just 4 days, marking an overall 84% decrease in processing time.
According to official documents obtained by Wealth Pakistan, the digital system has significantly cut costs related to paper, printing, courier services, and manpower by eliminating paper-based workflows.
The e-office system has now been expanded across the entire federal structure, with over 350 government institutions onboarded. Out of 39 divisions, 35 have fully implemented the system.
Additionally, the fully digital Apostille Attestation System, compliant with the Hague Convention, has provided services to 255,835 citizens and verified 633,877 documents to date.
