Mobile Phone Worth 6 Lakh Stolen in Lahore, Suspect Arrested After CCTV Footage Emerges

Lahore: Police have arrested a suspect who stole a mobile phone worth 6 lakh rupees, after the theft was captured on CCTV footage. The incident took place when the victim, Fahad, came to a pharmacy to purchase medicine and accidentally left his phone behind.
According to the police, Fahad entered the pharmacy to buy medication and unknowingly left his mobile phone on the counter. Shortly after, a man entered the pharmacy, took the phone after purchasing his medication, and quickly fled in a car.
The CCTV footage of the theft was obtained by Express News, showing Fahad purchasing medicine while a man in a white shalwar kameez is seen stealing the phone.
Upon receiving the report, DIG Operations Faisal Kamran immediately instructed the police to trace the suspect. Utilizing mobile phone location data, Nawab Town police successfully recovered the phone within an hour and apprehended the thief.
