Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Approves Skill Development Program for Youth Employment

Islamabad:** Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a comprehensive plan to provide skill-based training programs for youth, aligning with market demand. The decision was made during a review meeting on the National Youth Employment Plan, chaired by the Prime Minister on Thursday.
According to an official statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office, the plan focuses on providing training programs tailored to the skills required in various sectors. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will personally oversee the implementation of the project and has decided to chair monthly review meetings to monitor progress.
The statement also mentioned that the Prime Minister instructed the creation of a comprehensive database outlining the skills needed in local industries.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that Pakistan’s talented youth is the country’s most valuable asset. He reiterated that by providing youth with the necessary skills, they would be empowered and employed, contributing to the nation’s development. The Prime Minister also mentioned that efforts are being made to increase the export of human resources through skill development and training initiatives.
