Mufti Abdul Qavi Claims He Has Not Bought Anything with His Own Income Since 2005

Pakistani religious scholar Mufti Abdul Qavi recently made a remarkable claim during a podcast where he discussed his sources of income and expenses. He revealed that since 2005, he has not bought anything—whether it be shoes, clothes, or a cap—using his own earnings.
According to Mufti Qavi, he inherited 1.5 acres of land from his father, who owned a total of 6 square acres. From this land, he earns up to 140,000 rupees annually. Besides his land, Mufti Qavi also runs his own clinic, which contributes to his income.
He further mentioned that he does not spend a single rupee on personal expenses. When traveling abroad, he takes a specific amount of money with him, and the same amount comes back when he returns. He gave an example of a recent trip to Dubai, where, before leaving, he asked his grandchildren to check how much money he was carrying. They counted and found he had 15,000 rupees.
Mufti Qavi explained that although he initially planned to stay in Dubai for just 11 days, he ended up staying for 30 days at the insistence of his hosts. He stated that not a single penny of his own was spent during the entire trip. When he returned, his grandchildren checked his bag again and noticed that the 15,000 rupees were still there, untouched.
It’s also worth noting that Mufti Qavi recently made headlines for proposing marriage to Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant. In response, Rakhi humorously told him that “tolerating her is not that easy” and added that she is “different.”
