Tribal Leaders Condemn Arrest of Gorgin Mengal, Demand Withdrawal of FIR Against BNP Leaders

Quetta:The central leaders of the Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP), former Federal Minister Nawabzada Shah Zain Bugti and former Provincial Minister Nawabzada Ghuram Khan Bugti, strongly condemned the registration of an FIR and the arrest of former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, and his son Gorgin Khan Mengal.

In a joint statement, Nawabzada Shah Zain Bugti and Nawabzada Ghuram Bugti expressed their concern that the Balochistan government had taken action against Gorgin Mengal in violation of tribal customs and traditions. They stated that Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal and his family have played a significant role in Balochistan’s political and tribal history and that such actions would not deter them from their struggle for the rights of the people of Balochistan.

The Bugti leaders emphasized that the Balochistan government’s actions, including the false charges against Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal and his family, would not stop them from continuing their fight for the rights of Balochistan and its people. They called for the immediate withdrawal of the FIR and the release of Gorgin Mengal.
