Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Meeting to Be Held in Peshawar for Ramadan Moon Sighting

Peshawar: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will hold a meeting today to observe the sighting of the Ramadan moon. The meeting, chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, will begin at 6:30 PM.

Apart from the central members and religious scholars, officials from SUPARCO and the Meteorological Department will also be present at the meeting.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Peshawar and across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is expected to be partly cloudy in the next 24 hours, which may reduce the chances of sighting the Ramadan moon tomorrow.

The Meteorological Department further stated that at sunset, the moon will be approximately 12 hours and 45 minutes old.
