Rain and snowfall have also resumed in Balochistan, particularly in Quetta, Chaman, Qila Saifullah, and Ziarat. Light rainfall was recorded in Sindh’s Ghotki, Kashmore, Kandhkot, and Thul areas as well.

The Meteorological Department has predicted continued rainfall and snowfall across Islamabad, upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Additionally, hailstorms are expected in parts of Pothohar Region and northeastern Punjab.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, several areas including Peshawar, Charsadda, Mardan, Dera, Khyber, Muzaffarabad, and Uthmukam saw heavy showers, while snow fell on Koh-e-Safed, leading to a drop in temperature.

In Azad Kashmir’s Nikyal, the long-standing drought has finally ended. The Meteorological Department has also forecasted light snowfall and rain for the upper Neelum Valley today.
